  • About your Square Payroll employee dashboard

In your Square Payroll employee dashboard, you can view your pay stubs, update your tax withholding information and update the bank account used for your direct deposits.

    Before you begin

You can update your Square Payroll information from your Square Payroll employee dashboard.

To edit your Square Payroll information, you need to have already accepted the invitation from your employer. Learn more about how to set up a Square Payroll employee dashboard.

    Update your employee email address

You can update your email address from your Square Payroll employee dashboard.

    3. Select Change by the email address.

    4. Enter and confirm the new email address.

    Update your personal information

You can update your tax withholdings or personal information whenever you need from your Square Payroll employee dashboard. Changing tax withholding data will not impact pending direct deposits but will apply for future payroll runs.

    1. Sign in to your Square Payroll employee dashboard and select Personal Info.

    2. Edit any of your personal information and select Save.

Update your direct deposit bank account

    1. Sign in to your Square Payroll employee dashboard and select Linked accounts.

    2. Select Add account to add a new bank account, or select Replace by an existing bank account to replace an old bank account with a new one.

    3. Enter the account holder’s name, routing number, and account number.

    4. Select Save.

If you add multiple bank accounts to your profile, you can split your direct deposit paycheck to two different bank accounts. When adding multiple bank accounts, you’ll split your paycheck by percentage, not dollar amount. You cannot split your paycheck between a bank account and Cash App. Edits to your direct deposit bank account will not affect pending direct deposits or runs in progress. Any changes will go into effect during the next pay cycle.

    1. From your Square Payroll employee dashboard, go to Deposits & transfers.

    2. For Deposit Destination, select Change.

    3. Toggle on Split direct deposit and enter the percentage amount of your net paycheck you want to split between your bank accounts.

    4. Select Save.
