Add and Authorise Locations with Square for Franchises
After you set up your Square for Franchises account, you can add new franchise locations in your Square for Franchises dashboard.
Add a location
Sign in to your Square for Franchises dashboard and click General Settings > Locations.
Click Add Location to enter your Store Info.
Select your Default Store.
Enter your Store name, Description and Restaurant Address and adjust the toggle to Use Restaurant Address as Pickup Address. Select the Specific Store Type.
Enter the Email and Phone for this location. For the POS System, select Square from the drop-down menu.
For Manager Contacts, enter the Manager Email and Manager Phone for that location’s manager. This contact information is how the location manager receives system alerts and notifications on orders.
Click Save.
You can view all your location information from the Locations section.
Authorise a location
Authorising a location is for when you would like to integrate your existing Square account or a Square POS for payment processing with Square for Franchises.
Sign in to your Square for Franchises dashboard, and click Choose Location on the top of your screen.
Select the location you want to authorise from the drop-down menu.
Go to the Payment tab > click the ‘Add Provider’ button in the ‘Payment provider’ section > select Square > Continue. Log in with your Square credentials and enable/grant the permissions to connect. (At this point the Square merchant is connected.) > Select the Location you want to link to in the Square authorisation form. (Select the location you want to authorise in the drop-down menu, which will reflect all stores available under the connected Square account).
Make sure in the Integration section below that Live toggle is enabled.
Select the Payment Methods you want to include and click Save Settings.
