Get real-time sales data on Square Restaurants POS
Before you begin
Square for Restaurants allows you to see real-time data for your sales during service with the Live Sales report.
The Live Sales report shows the performance of a shift, in real time. Live Sales shows details about open bills, as well as total sales that include an overview of closed bills. Use this real-time data to analyze sales performance for the day and inform staffing decisions during service.

Open Live Sales report
The Live Sales report considers open and closed bills for sales made during the business hours you set on your Square Dashboard.
- Open your Restaurants POS app and tap Account > View Live Sales.
- Tap Refresh to ensure data includes any recent bills.
- Scroll to view all data.
