Square Credit Card FAQ
Here are some commonly asked questions about using your Square Credit Card.
You can apply for a Square Credit Card if you are both eligible and an existing Square seller. To check if you’re eligible to apply for a Square Credit card, visit the Balances section of your online Square Dashboard.
Interest is the cost of borrowing money, expressed as an Annual Percentage Rate (APR). Your interest rate can go up or down if you have significant changes in your Square sales. You can find the interest rate of your Square Credit Card in your Square Dashboard. If your interest rate changes, you will receive an email letting you know.
When you begin your billing cycle with no carried balance, you have about a month grace period before you may be charged any interest.
If you don’t pay your bill in full every month, the unpaid amount becomes a “carried balance”. You’ll pay interest on this carried balance, and any new purchases until you pay off your carried balance in full and begin a new cycle.
There are no fees with the Square Credit Card— no late fees, no annual fees, no foreign transaction fees. No other fees.
Applying for a Square Credit Card does not impact your credit. If you ever miss a payment, it will not affect your credit score.
