1.6% card present rate applies for Square Sellers who sign up on or after 30 May 2024, or who signed up prior to this date and subscribed to Square Appointments Plus or Premium. The rate of 1.9% will apply for all other Square Sellers who signed up prior to this date when using Square Reader, Square Stand or Tap to Pay, as listed in the Square Fee Schedule.

It’s extremely easy to add additional locations for growing businesses. Simply go to your Square Appointments dashboard and click Create Location. You’ll need to add the relevant business location information such as the business name, description, logo and location contact details, as well as set the time zone and hours for your new location. The time zone and hours set will be applied to the location’s calendar, online booking site, client communications and staff hours.
If your staff work at multiple business locations, you can enable each applicable location from their staff profile. To get started:
- Click on a staff members name to open their profile.
- Scroll down to Manage Staff Locations.
- Toggle on all applicable locations and enter their hours of availability for booking.
- Click Done.

To switch between locations on the Square Appointments app (iOS and Android):
- From the navigation bar, tap More.
- Select Switch location.
- Choose the location you want to view.
When you set up your online booking site, each location will have a unique booking URL and setup page that can be viewed by switching locations from the Online Booking tab. The business information reflected in your online booking site can be edited from the Locations section of your online Square Dashboard. Settings for staff and appointments services can be edited from your Dashboard as well.
